Marisa is about sub-par. This Patchy is good and I love her expressions and do not mind the pasting.
The last panel type self-mocking "thing" (because it cannot be called a joke in any way) is stupid and lame. At least put it in some sort of context and make it more subtle, so it may be called lampshade.

I do not use that site. You can post it there if you want to, and I do not mind if you pass it off as your own remarks.

The issue is not about self-criticism, which is perfectly fine, but to put it in the artwork. The last panel has zero artistic value (or even negative in my view). He could mock himself in a description, comment, or simply keep it to himself and try to improve. What he said here in his picture is so obvious that he's probably mentally trying to prevent others from criticizing him by doing it himself.
I'm not putting him at any fault though, because I used to do that sort of things, until I realized that it is counter-productive to the original goal of creating art: to entertain the audience. And this kind of "thing" is not entertaining, nor does it make people feel any better about the criticized flaw.
