remove implication hypnosis -> mind_control

First of all, real hypnosis is not mind control. In short, it can suppress inhibitions but can't make you do anything you aren't already willing to do (like have sex with a stranger). Many posts on this site depict fantastical hypnosis, but any that depict realistic hypnosis will violate this implication. Moreover, some images (post #4132592, post #4404200) don't seem to depict realistic hypnosis ("Haha, look this way, person I just ran into at the store! I'm waving this coin in front of your face!") but don't show any mind control happening either. The scenario itself may well involve mind control (as the examples I linked seem to be as evidenced by the sex images in their child posts), but the images themselves don't show it happening, thus violating "tag what you see". Finally, some (post #479900) don't show any successful hypnosis happening at all, and therefore definitely don't show mind control, but nonetheless have the theme of hypnosis present enough to warrant the tag.

An example of a hypnosis image that definitely does show mind control is post #1844060.

Mind control can be broken up into two related types of depictions: (1) The process to mind control a person and (2) the state of a person being under mind control. Instead of separating the two and opening the door for mistagging, I think a better solution would be simply having the mind control tag be a parent tag for both and have child tags for the process and for the state.

The issue is that for hypnosis the implication doesn't hold. post #479900 shows (attempted) hypnosis, but definitely no mind control: (Suika yawns not because she's "feeling very sleepy" but because she's bored, and Tenshi is given a trivial joke command that requires no action to comply with. Neither character displays any sign of trance.)

If we want to avoid mistagging, we could try aliasing mind control to mind controlled.

Yet it's still depicting the act of attempting to alter the mental state of a person, in short mind control them. Trying to separate the action to mind control someone and the actual state of being mind controlled is unnecessary, and again would be better served with simply having child tags under mind control that cover these differences.

I'd agree with the OP, hypnosis is a different think to mind control. The former is a one-off event that induces an altered psychological state in the subject - "You are a child again" etc. - while the latter implies direct and sustained control over the mind.

The former merely sets the target into motion with the intent, perhaps, of a certain result, but that doesn't always pan out. That's important, because a lot of the humour and appeal in hypnosis situations is the effect backfiring. Similarly, the cost of sustaining mind control over a target is sometimes part of what makes a mind control image/piece of content appealling.
