Or the alias can go the other way around, idk. But they're the same thing.

If foot baths are uniquely Japanese then the current alias should be fine, but if they aren't then it really should be flipped.

Personal foot baths are a thing in the English-speaking world, at least. Not sure about the onsen kind. Should I go ahead and flip it?

I think there could be value in keeping ashiyu for the public communal kind and foot bath for the personal kind. Currently almost all images under foot bath would go to ashiyu if we do this, but it would enable actually searching for those few that wouldn't.

All the "personal" foot_bath posts are just someone soaking their feet in an ordinary washbowl. I don't think it's necessary to have a specialized tag for this.
