attack on titan (possible spoiler)

Posted under Tags

i caught a sudden rush of eren and annie fanart though i don't remember such development in the last episode. what interests me is post #1449469 . it's just a parody but i was already spoiled to a certain extent and i could only guess what it appears to suggest.

does this deserve a spoiler tag?

I think it does. In the manga,

Annie is revealed to be a Titan Shifter, and Eren ends up fighting her in two accounts while they were both in their titan forms. In the first fight, Eren notices how the fighting style of the Female Titan is similar to Annie's, and she is revealed by Armin's deductive prowess before the second bout inside Wall Rose.

The anime is not at that part yet, that is true. Either the artists have kept up with the manga, or they're just launching a ship for the sake of doing so. I'm leaning more towards the former on this matter. I'd say keep the spoiler tag.

Sometimes I have a hard time telling which is more of the spoiler, actually labeling it a spoiler and thus someone confirming what the image could be implying or just letting the person see the image and guess whether it is just coincidence or not. I guess if you black list the spoiler tag having it listed as a spoiler helps you, but for those who don't do that the tag succeeds in making an image that could otherwise just be coincidence or gray about whether what it is depicting is true or not actually be a 100% spoiler. An image like post #1422498 while playful could also hint at a spoiler in the series, slapping on a tag like spoiler confirms it actually being one without any doubt or reservations.

Yes, what post #1449469 suggests is true. No, post #1422498 that I used as an example doesn't happen or at least hasn't happened.

This is the risk for using the spoiler tag on anything, though.

Maybe it would be an idea if the spoiler tag could be hidden from the list all together. It'd still be on the list so as to qualify for black listing and searching purposes, but won't unnecessarily be displayed when looking at an image unless you have it set in your options or go to edit the tags or look at the tag history.
