He did spend hundreds of years in his mother's womb while she floated around before he was born.
By that logic it could've been Maya of Sakya pregnant with Siddartha(pre-enlightenment Buddha) just for the miracle done right after birth, or Rhea pregnant with Zeus because she also had a strange pregnant story and Zeus is totally the type of guy who would hit on girls even as a kid and they could have done BS logic like "he's a child of two Titans so he's not considered divine spirit until he takes over Olympus" or maybe it's goddamn Momotaro because apparently "unusual birth" is the only thing to go by.sarcasm
It's just stupid to base a Servant on the notion of "hey this person had a strange birth", but hey it's modern Fate, and it's a joke comic, so what do I know.
I even have the feeling Riyo doesn't even know what these Servants are, draw random designs, see people go crazy with theories, and just pick one from there.
But nuns ARE supposed to be "brides of Christ". That's kind of the whole reason for the "nuns can't have sex" argument, because it's supposed to be adultery against Jesus.
Caster and Saber both fit him pretty well. He used a sword after all

On what grounds? Vainamoinen's legend is most famous when he is an old man, like Gandalf old man, not a baby.
For the first rune of the version of the songs in Kalevala he is still unborn. (Though in plenty of other versions he takes the place of Ilmatar in the creation song instead of being born during it) There really is no song with young Väinämöinen i know of. He was born old and was referred as old and steadfast and started singing even before his own birth in the first rune. Even during birth he just kind of decided to come out.
1) The "Brides of Christ" phrase refers to the whole church, not just the nuns. Yes, the dudes are included as being part of that.
2) It's a metaphor. As in, it's symbolic. As in, it isn't a literal marriage, secular or otherwise.
3) That isn't the reason for the whole "no more sex" vow. It's probably not even a reason for a lot of them. Yes, it's meant to bring one into a closer relationship to a higher power, but it's not even that kind of relationship. People in proper human marriages are encouraged to fuck consensually and there ain't any fucking considered proper in this relationship.
4) It's not exclusive to nuns. Monks and any other super-religious people can take that vow.
Please, please, if you don't want people to spread what you regard to be bullshit, then I urge you to not spread around baseless bullshit as well. This information isn't hard to find or confirm.
cf. someone who has access to wikipedia and the first few pages of some google searches.
Anyways, as others have said, this page at least seems to point to the servant being of a more East Baltic background. But then again, odd birth conditions aren't too unusual among the world's beliefs.
... Was there anyone known for being cut out of their mom by means of impromptu C-section? It's a stretch, but it doesn't seem too far-fetched a connection for Fate-verse.
I like how upon hearing Baby-Saber's voice, Jeanne's heat blush immediately disappears, like the cold realization overpowers the heat of the sauna. Saber also doesn't have one, presumably because she is a robot in the Riyoverse.
I remember some theory going around about Baby-saber being some sort of playboy but I can't remember if it's Vainamoinen or someone else.
Edited some notes, mostly in the last panel. I think it improves the flow a bit.
@solisel see my comment re: Amirani on post #3480508. Although now the sauna bit does seem to strongly point to someone Finnish/Norse, ala Viking Jesus.
Väinämöinen is better fit as a Caster, but knowing Japan's grasp on Western mythology, Riyo probably just saw him in that picture on a boat with a sword after looking up Illya/Sitonai's Louhi part and wrote accordingly.
I even have the feeling Riyo doesn't even know what these Servants are, draw random designs, see people go crazy with theories, and just pick one from there.

1. Mother is not human. The baby is in the womb for a long time. 2. The Riding skill is specialized in ski and sled, and with the sauna that means the baby is a Finn. 3. The other personal skill is Immortal Sage, which is Vainamoinen's epithet. 4. Has a habit of skirt-chasing, but isn't very successful - allusion to Aino's incident. 5. He talks like an old man. 6. In the Servant profile artwork, the mother holds a kantele.
Well~~~
We've made a splendid church haven't we~…… This isn't a church but a sauna!O beloved Lord, bestow thy words upon me as well.We were proposed to as well.Going along with the joke, huhIs Jeanne's religion one where all adherents get married to the founder? This person is not my Lord.Furthermore, the one in her belly personally requested a sauna…In the first place,
is it alright to bring a pregnant woman to a piping hot sauna like this?Well, she's not human…You can already speak from within the womb!?Lady, you love me then? Then, I'll marry you.It is most assuredly not.Wait, what is this?
