Half of bird tail is already tagged tail. It's painfully obvious that a tail is a tail. Birds have tails. Bird tails are tails. The wiki says it's a tail. post #4580687 is a tail. post #4601414 is a tail. Bird tails are tails.

I considered it, but dinosaurs are sometimes drawn with tail feathers, like in post #2021896. Niwatari Kutaka has a rooster tail, which is often devoid of detailed feathers, such as post #4585222. Lastly, you've got Greater Lophorina getting the tag, so things like post #4587928.
For that alias to work, we'd need to axe all those from bird tail first, labelling them with a generic tail tag.
Lastly, even if I were to do that alias we'd just end up right back here implicating tail_feathers -> tail.
Tail already includes so many wildly different types of tails, including things like snakes and fish and penguins, that I don't really see the point in arguing that bird tails don't count.
For the most part, animal ears and tail are just proxy tags to find kemonomimi characters. If you're searching for tail, it's safe to say you're searching for kemonomimi characters, of which bird girls should be included.
