AI-generated art check thread

Posted under General

The Twitter bio of the artist arina_stepanova explicitly says that AI is used as a guide, and while I'm not entirely sure of the policy here concerning using AI as a guide vs full gens, the art itself looks like it's potentially generated, although putting it through an AI detector always comes up with 0%.

don't rely on "AI detectors" though, they're way too unreliable and they most probably always will

An other flag without a tag. Is there any validity to it?

The only thing I've found so far is this reply to the Twitter version of this post.
https://twitter.com/Nehan4181/status/1657957985094889472
Where someone is calling out this user for using a different AI image as a base
https://twitter.com/lulu_ai_studio/status/1630704650260295686?lang=bn
Which, given the different pose of her arms, would make this image ai-assisted at best if the flagger has no other information to offer

The artist also has posted an making-of of a different post
https://twitter.com/kazzu_0/status/1653023266620022787 (post #6271299)
which implies that this person at least has some skill when it comes to actual drawing instead of cheaply passing of pure ai-generated content as self made. I'm irking to the side of the artist, at this moment.

It is rather unbelievable to me that the artist would get everything exactly perfect on the first try with zero revisions and end up with a textbook NovelAI art style. There still seems to be some uncorrected warping on the hair, including the spot where the highlights merge into the eyelashes for no apparent reason.

Additionally, the artist appears to have deleted everything that they posted before the release of NovelAI, and the areas that they have improved in rendering just so happen to be areas that AI is good at.

theres technically more hand-drawn parts i can find in the drawing than what's said in the flag reason, but it's all little work, like the hands are redrawn, some little parts of the hair, the thighhigh peeking on the bottom appears to have been manually added in too, all those parts contrast with the rest of the pic enough for me to call this ai-generated with too little actual work to call it ai-assisted

My question is his past post are ai-generated or is one in this case

Seriously i need a guide to recognize ai-generated images the most notoriously are easy but some images make you doubt like this if this isnt had the ai-generated tag probably i fall again https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/107377255

Looking at more AI art will make it easier over time, the eyes and the shading make that linked image look really AI to me. The coast also looks 'broken' to me, for lack of a better word. And then there's what I think is a necklace, which is smeary. It's also not consistent between images, along with the bikini.

I'm trying and know your points but if someone in this case the author do some corrections for example your "broken" points thats my point if you touch the image whats the frontier between ai-generated or ai-assisted

I find nothing suspicious. You can see brushstrokes of different opacities, hardnesses, and radii everywhere. Anti-aliasing is on for some brushstrokes and off for some others, for whatever reason, but that's beside the point.
